What is Laurel Berry Oil?

Laurel Berry Oil is a premium specialty oil extracted from the fruit of the Laurus nobilis tree, native to Turkey and Greece. This oil has been treasured for centuries as the signature ingredient in traditional Aleppo soap and is highly valued in natural cosmetics.

Unlike Laurel Leaf Essential Oil (steam-distilled from leaves), Laurel Berry Oil is produced through a time-honored water-extraction process. Hand-harvested berries are boiled until seeds and pulp separate, allowing the nutrient-rich oil to float to the surface.

Not Cold Pressed - Traditional Water Extraction

Authentic laurel berry oil is NOT cold pressed. It requires a traditional water-extraction method used for centuries:

• Hand Harvesting: Mature berries picked November-January at peak oil content
• Traditional Boiling: Berries boiled in large cauldrons, separating seeds from oil
• Natural Separation: Oil floats to surface, carefully skimmed by hand
