Extraction & Lot Traceability

Fresh laurel berries on the branch in Hatay, Turkey — source of Gharsoap laurel berry oil

The berries are hand-harvested in Hatay between November and January, boiled in water, and the oil that rises is skimmed off, then separated, decanted and filtered. It is a traditional water/heat process; see how traditional laurel oil is extracted.

Every container carries a lot number that matches the COA issued for that lot, so your batch records trace back to the raw material lot.
